Being a child in Turkey...
Many surprises await you here. You can see the first black teddy bear which was made to comemorate the passengers who lost their lives in Titanic disaster of 1912 or your first steps at the museum will take you to the dolls in folklore costumes, traditional toys and miniatures sold in marketplaces as well as Eyup toys from the historical Eyup toy shop which was located in the garden of the Sultan Eyup Mosque.
The founder of this cozy museum Sunay Akin has collected 7000 antique toys over 15 years which are on display now in the historical villa belonging to his family converted into Istanbul Toy Museum.
Museum is closed on Monday. It is located at the Asian side of Istanbul.
